Alex is an award-winning marketing and promotions executive with decades of experience in the music industry. He’s worked at Capitol, Warner, and Geffen Records, and is now a consultant collaborating with artists like Dua Lipa, The Head & The Heart, Kings of Leon, Bebe Rexha, and more. Wednesday, Nov 10 @ 4:30 PT— How Winning NPR’s Tiny Desk Concert Changed My Career Trajectory with Gaelynn Lea
Gaelynn is a violinist, composer, and disability rights activist with years of touring and performing experience under her belt. Since winning the 2016 Tiny Desk contest, she has toured in 45 states and 9 countries, captivating audiences around the world with her unique mix of haunting original songs and traditional fiddle tunes. Since moving to Nashville nearly 30 years ago, she’s written for artists including Reba, Hunter Hayes, and Zella Day. In this talk, Bonnie will walk through the paths to monetizing your music that exist today.

Every Friday at 3pm, come hang out on our Discord server and share what you’re working on! Whether it’s your mixed and mastered final product or the first draft of your lyrics, we want to hear it. Come ready to share some music and give constructive feedback to others.
